**The Bradford Beer Firm that’s Brewing Up a £9m Expansion**

In a move that will shake up the brewing industry in Bradford, Timothy Taylor’s has announced a £9m expansion of its Knowle Spring Brewery site. This Keighley-based beer firm, with its rich history spanning over 160 years, is known for producing iconic beers like Landlord and Boltmaker.

The decision to expand comes as Timothy Taylor’s aims to meet the growing demands of the market. In order to achieve this, new plant machinery and brewing equipment will be installed, as stated in the planning documents submitted to Bradford Council. The company also plans to remove and replace the roof of a section of its existing building, followed by a reconfiguration of the structure.

This expansion project is considered a significant milestone for the brewery, and Timothy Taylor’s is committed to investing the £9m over the next five years. The brewery will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that will enable better storage of water from an on-site spring, which is a key ingredient in their brewing process.

Tim Dewey, the CEO of Timothy Taylor’s, spoke of the benefits of the expansion, stating, “While the plan provides for increased capacity at the brewery, it will also enhance our resilience, health and safety, and ability to deliver quality beer. It will significantly upgrade our facilities, including additional storage for our Knowle Spring water, yeast care, and cleaning.”

This news has caused quite a stir in the local beer scene, and beer enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the completion of the expansion. With the increased brewing capacity and improved facilities, Timothy Taylor’s is set to dominate the market and continue its legacy as a leading beer producer.
