Xavier University is set to launch a new beer called Muskie Lager, just in time for the upcoming basketball season at Cintas Center. This initiative is a collaboration between Cincinnati Beverage and Xavier University Athletics, aiming to support the university’s student-athletes.

The brew, produced by Burger Beer—one of the notable brewing brands in Cincinnati—will generate funds for all 19 sports programs through the All For One Fund. According to Brian Hicks, Xavier’s Sr. Associate Athletics Director, this partnership presents a unique opportunity to strengthen ties with the fanbase while raising funds to assist student-athletes.

Muskie Lager will be available during the basketball season, kicking off with the men’s exhibition game against Murray State on October 18. This launch reflects a commitment to community engagement and support for the athletic department, allowing fans to enjoy a locally crafted beverage while contributing to the university’s sports programs.
