Party Mix-Up at Sugar Factory Leaves Kids in Shock

Sugar Factory, known for its over-the-top milkshakes and famous Rainbow Sliders, has long been a go-to destination for exciting parties and celebrations. However, one family’s recent birthday celebration took an unexpected turn when a shocking mix-up occurred at the popular restaurant.

According to WSBTV, Souljah Perdue planned a visit to the Atlanta Sugar Factory to celebrate her daughter’s 11th birthday. As the party was winding down, they decided to order alcoholic shots for the adults and juice for the kids. Little did they know, the entire party would soon be in for a surprise.

“I couldn’t believe it. It’s something I never heard of. So I was really just like ‘How could they make this mistake?'” Perdue shared with WSBTV. In a video recorded by the mother during the birthday party, she can be heard instructing everyone to show her their shots. It quickly became evident that something was amiss as the children’s reactions indicated that there was more than just juice in their glasses.

“I start looking around. I’m looking at my daughter and seeing the other kids. They’re making noises and faces like, ‘Eww, I think it has liquor in it,'” Perdue explained. She promptly informed a manager of the dangerous mix-up and even recorded a conversation with an employee who admitted to serving the table shots made with coconut rum.

“There was coconut rum and pineapple juice. It’s a.5 of coconut rum. I accept full responsibility. Nothing should have come out of my bar that I’m aware of. And it should have not been made,” the employee confessed. Despite Perdue’s attempts to reach out to Sugar Factory’s corporate office, she has received no response.

“They’re still not answering no calls. They’re acting like nothing happened,” she lamented. The lack of accountability from the corporate office has left Perdue frustrated and seeking justice for the alarming incident.

It is essential for establishments like Sugar Factory to prioritize the safety and well-being of their patrons, especially when it comes to serving alcohol. Such mix-ups can have severe consequences and should be treated with the utmost seriousness.
