Tacos, beer, and Lucha Libre-style wrestling are coming together for an unforgettable event in Long Beach. The West Coast Taco & Beer Festival, founded in 2018, is making its debut in Long Beach on Saturday, Aug. 26. This exciting festival will take place at Rainbow Lagoon and feature numerous breweries serving unlimited sample-size pours of beer, cider, and seltzer. And let’s not forget about the main attraction – delicious tacos!

But this festival offers much more than just food and drinks. Attendees will also enjoy live music, yard games like cornhole, and various vendors offering their unique products. Brandon Mozley, the organizer of the festival, describes it as “a little more comprehensive than your average food event.”

The participating breweries at the Long Beach event are sure to impress. Bootleggers Brewery, known for its Mexican-style lagers, double IPAs, red ales, and wheat ales, will be there to quench your thirst. Hermosa Brewing, with locations in Hermosa Beach and Torrance, will also be showcasing their craft beers. If you’re feeling adventurous, Golden Coast Mead will be pouring their honey-based beverages, providing a unique taste experience.

When it comes to tacos, this festival has you covered. With a lineup of over two dozen vendors, you can expect a wide variety of taco options. From barbecue to Indian tacos to seafood, the festival aims to offer something for everyone. Don’t miss out on the pit-smoked barbecue tacos from Carlitos Tacos and the street-style tacos from Solitas Tacos & Margaritas. And for a fusion of flavors, try the chicken satay tacos and burritos from Thai-Mex Cocina.

As you indulge in tacos and beer, get ready for a thrilling spectacle – masked wrestlers performing acrobatic moves on the Lucha Libre stage throughout the day. This dynamic combination of food, drinks, and entertainment guarantees an unforgettable experience.

If you can’t make it to the Long Beach event, don’t worry. The festival will return to Southern California on October 28 at White Park in Riverside.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Aug. 26, and head to Rainbow Lagoon in Long Beach. General admission tickets start at $45, while VIP tickets start at $79 and include three taco tickets and early entrance at 2 p.m. For more information, visit westcoasttacobeerfest.com.
